CACNC will offer specialized training tracks for law enforcement, medical professionals, prosecutors and other disciplines involved with the investigation, evaluation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse.

Law Enforcement Scholarship Opportunity for 1 Waived Registration

One waived registration for a Law Enforcement professional to attend the Reflections Symposium at Lake Junaluska will be offered. Applicants must be a member of an active Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). The application deadline is August 24, 2018. Click on the link below for more information.

Child Medical Evaluation Training: Sexual Abuse 101

CACNC, the Child Medical Evaluation Program (CMEP) and The School of Medicine of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will offer a specialized 1-day medical training for those interested in becoming rostered with the Child Medical Evaluation Program. This training is separate from the "Reflections" Child Medical Track and registration is NOT available through the online module provided below. 3rd Annual "Taking Child Abuse Interventions to New Heights" Symposium

April 2 - 4, 2019

Due to the timing of the 2019 Easter holiday and spring break schedule for NC schools, the 2019 Eastern Symposium will be held in Kitty Hawk in early April. Brochures should be available in early 2019 for distribution and download.
