The Children's Advocacy Centers of North Carolina and the South Carolina Network of Children's Advocacy Centers are pleased to present the 3rd Annual Joint Symposium on Child Abuse & Neglect for the Carolinas. The symposium offers a Children’s Advocacy Center and multi-disciplinary training opportunity for professionals involved in the response to child abuse. Geared towards professionals involved within a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) as part of the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) model, this training allows for discipline-specific and/or cross-training of professionals in the investigation, evaluation, treatment, and prosecution of child maltreatment cases.
The symposium will offer general and workshop sessions within tracks tailored to specific disciplines. The symposium also provides an opportunity for networking and collaboration among Children's Advocacy Centers and their multidisciplinary team partners in the response to child abuse across the Carolinas. We hope to see you there!
