As more crime victims seek help, funding dwindles, advocates say

The Victims of Crime Act gives states money for counseling, shelter, forensic interviews and other trauma-informed care for victims of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. Advocates are asking Congress to improve the funding stream.
