Position Type: Volunteer Internship
Time Requirements: 1,048 hours per year or 524 per semester

Job Duties:
1. Develop a sustainable CAC Needs Assessment Tool for established CACs, to distribute to all CACs.
2. Modify the CAC Needs Assessment Tool to address under-developed CACs (non-established CACs/newly forming).
3. Conduct needs assessments using the CAC Needs Assessment Tool within select counties.

As an advanced level clinical provider, this position extends the services of the General Pediatrics Division and the TEDI BEAR program. The physician extender will be involved in providing comprehensive evaluations for children including colposcopy and labs, and participate (with interdisciplinary team) in the final assessment and recommendations.

The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center. Vidant Medical Center is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
